T-Bone Pruitt Returns to the Delta

Tommie T-Bone Pruitt, South Mississippi blues legend, made his long awaited return to the Delta on Saturday, Sept. 8th with his debut appearance at the Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale. It was an exciting night as a documentary film crew was there to film Tommie for inclusion in an upcoming film entitled: Return to Mississippi. Actor and part owner of the GZBC, Morgan Freeman, was also interviewed for the film and may provide narration for the project. The crowd loved T-Bone and the Assistant Manager of the club said that he would rank T-Bone in the top five of acts that have played there.
